C    Fence at The Chase bordering the bank of the LEB – update re ownership from WLDC and to agree way forward with condition of the fence, ensuring area is safe – Reply from WLDC ‘ We don’t hold information on ownership – that would be HM Land Registry.  WLDC were not the local planning Authority for the Eastern Bypass (LEB).  The applications were dealt with by the County Council as “County Matters”.  If the fence was erected as a requirement of the LEB planning permission, LCC’s planning section may be able to assist, but it is not something which WLDC, has any information on.’

Upon advice from the Play Equipment Inspector, the Clerk had investigated, the possibility of the erection of a V mesh fence to be erected alongside the current wooden structure, thus securing the site, and presented this suggestion to the Parish Council.   County Councillor Trevor Bridgwood had advised that funds were available from LCC and he would support a grant application for such a fence.

It was felt that ownership of the boundary should be sought through HM Land Registry and the Clerk would pursue.

The Clerk was also instructed to obtain quotations for the V mesh fence.

63 – 26/27  PLANNING

Application - WL/2026/00739  - Annexe at 54 Wragby Road East, North Greetwell, LN2 4QY – The following comments to be forwarded to the WLDC Planning department unanimously Resolved.

‘Greetwell Parish Council discussed this planning application at its meeting on 7th September.

It is noted that on this application one of the rooms previously marked as a bedroom is now a dressing room - this does not change the outline of the building.

Due to the close proximity to the neighbouring property, there are extreme concerns regarding the driveway arrangements and the turning of vehicles.  Even though there appears to have been some amendments made on the plan the site appears to remain unaltered.  The turning provision is two car widths square which it is not considered adequate for vehicles reversing out of the driveway onto the footpath and the very busy main A158 coast road.

The building line of this annexe does not stream with the other properties in that location.’

64 – 26/27  TO RECEIVE THE ANNUAL ROSPA PLAY EQUIPMENT INSPECTION REPORT AND INSTIGATE ANY ACTION REQUIRED
